David began offering clients this service in 2024 and has since covered a diverse range of topics and clients:

• Birth rates and demography for a non-profit charity
• Primary school running costs. This included constructing an index of inflation for running a primary school building. It made the case for a higher capitation grant at the 2025 Budget. This was grants after the client, an association of school management, brought it to the attention of the Department of Education.
• Rental market study for an industry group. This investigated the exodus of small landlords from the Irish rental sector. In a sector with opaque data, this study involved gathering alternative indicators.
• Apprenticeships: Acting as a subject matter expert for a consulting company which prepared a large report on reforming the apprenticeship system for a government agency.
• Health Economics: Worked with a charity to assess the economic impact of dental hygiene interventions.
• Competition Economics: Wrote an assessment of competition law cases in the public transport sector.
